Conferences are a great way to learn and connect, and there are lots of conferences covering churn nowadays! Churn is covered mainly at conferences that are either about:
- Data science and data engineering
- Subscription business strategies including customer success
Its really amazing how many conferences have been organized on both of these themes in the last few years.
Of course, in 2020 times have changed due to the threat of the coronavirus. Some events where I was going to speak were moved, and others have gone virtual. Here are my expected engagements for 2020:
SubSummit Virtual, November 11-13th – The world’s largest and funnest event dedicated to D2C Subscriptions has gone virtual. My session is titled Churn in the Time of Coronavirus and focuses on trends in churn and churn management in 2020.

Data & Analytics LIVE, July 14th – 17th – Sharing insights from the world’s data & analytics experts within an immersive virtual conference experience.
SaaStock Remote June 10th – 11th : On Day 1 I will be hosting a fireside chat on churn with the CEO of 2checkout Erich Litch. On Day 2 I will be hosting a book club discussion on Fighting Churn With Data.
ODSC East Virtual Conference on April 16th-17th (formerly ODSC Boston)– Learn from the best and brightest in open source artificial intelligence, machine learning, data visualization, and more.
